My Favorite Scrapbook Room or Craft Room Storage Ideas

While working on my current scrapbook room tour video (watch HERE), I wanted to share some of my very favorite scrapbook room storage products, along with links* to the actual products to make shopping easier. I love reorganizing my craft room and I do this often whenever I'm trying to de-stress. It's somehow soothing to me to be able to play with all the products and display them in a way that makes them easier to see and use or that just plain make me happy. Because all the 'stuff'' is a lot of the allure to scrapbooking and papercrafting, right?

These are the items shown in my scrapbook room tour and Raskog cart tour videos on the blog and YouTube. It's a long post, start scrolling...

These are probably the prettiest storage boxes I've come across. They have a cool little plastic tray in the bottom that can customize your box for different size dies/sizzlets/long die strips, etc. Check the different sizes for different storage options. I kept mine plain linen, but embellished the fronts with canvas accents and Bazzill rhinestone buttons. LOVE them.

For my thin dies, I had originally purchased the Art Bin Magnetic Storage, but I never could get the sheets to lie flat and my dies wouldn't stick to the pages, so I threw it out. :( So I just switched to the Zutter boxes, and while I hate the color pink, these work much better and I like the slightly larger size. I also store my older and larger Quickutz alphabet dies in here:

I use these for all my unmounted stamp storage, as shown in the video. I organize by theme and/or deisgner, depending on my mood, and store them standing up in a wire basket. Easy to flip through and see what I have.

Tim Holtz mini distress ink storage tins Tim Holtz Mini Distress Ink Storage Tin (also sold in 3 packs)

I LOVE these little tins! Why are mini things so adorable? And collectible? I re-purchased all the distress ink pads in the mini sizes and store them in these tins. AWESOME TIP: Did you know that the little mini-foam pieces fit in the underside of the ink pads??? So now you only need a couple of handles and can store the foam pads in the little storage tin. Made my day. Seriously.

This one is great for items other than stamps, like ink pads that would lay flat. I don't use this one as much, but thought I'd share.

Avery Elle stamp and die storage envelopes Avery Elle Stamp and Die Storage Envelopes

The name says it all. I use these to store my Ali Edwards Story Stamps, my Studio Calico stamps, Lawn Fawn, etc., but I also use these to store my chipboard letters by placing one letter, all styles in each envelope. For instance, all A's together, all B's, then all number 1's, etc. I use these envelopes standing in the top shelf of my Raskog cart, but if you want to use shelf storage, they also fit perfectly in these bins, used by Jennifer McGuire:

I use this one also in my Raskog cart. I have 2 of them and Tim Holtz's Distress ink pads fit perfectly inside - the regular size. I store the minis in a different container. I also use them for paint bottle storage (Dylusions Spray paint, ink daubers, etc.) Keep scrolling. :)

I don't think the plastic storage I have for my Cricut cartridges are available anymore, but I might switch to this, anyway. I don't have a gazillion carts, and this would nicely hold the ones I have in one box instead of 3 or more of the ones I have. Easier, I think.

And I can't imagine that anyone doesn't already have at least ONE of these (I have 2 so far): the Raskog cart from Ikea:

And THEN you need the little cups that hang on the side to store pens and smaller items. The cups just hang on the rail and also stand on their own - you could sit them on your desk while using them, them place back on the cart later. I can't find the name of them at the moment. Will update as soon as I can find the link. You know Ikea has all those interesting names...

This is a nice alternative to the Raskog cart and a bit more decorative. It comes in turquoise and white:

Thanks for taking a look at what I use to organize my craft room. When I update, I'll be sure to let you know.
