Repurposing Gift Wrap Ideas Using Photos

Being the co-owner of a photography studio (I'm the wizard behind the curtain, not the photographer) has created plenty of opportunities to become create using photos as decor, but I'm usually too busy to think about blogging about it. This afternoon's project made me so happy, I remembered to take a moment to share. I haven't spent a dime on Christmas gift wrap this year, but I've ended up with the prettiest and most functional wrap I've ever had. Not only is it pretty, but my 3 year old nephew, who can't quite read yet, will be able to help hand out Christmas gifts on Christmas Eve.

I gathered up some leftover kraft paper from the frame shop, unused organza ribbon from some long ago marketing project, some extra twill from my scrapbook supply, and a Christmas floral arrangement I was tired of. I chopped up the arrangement with my Ranger scissors (you know they cut metal wire, right?), and added the sprigs to the ribbon for some added bling. I then ran over to ScrapRoom and did a quick search for photos, converted them to black and white with a click, and printed them out to use a visual gift tags.
