National Scrapbook Day 2014 Projects

What a fun day we all had Saturday, participating in the Big Picture Classes National Scrapbook Day 10K. I got a late start, with so many family things going on in May, but they all cleared out after lunch and I had the rest of the day to myself. I posted most of my pages to Instagram and you can see them HERE, but I thought I'd also share some of the pages I completed using my ScrapRoom Software. I never get to spend enough time working on my own projects, and it was great to get several hours in a row on my own thing.  Here you go:

I have been wanting to work on the photos from the Big Picture Play Event with Stacy J in January, but it took a while to collect all the photos from 3 other friends, as well as the Disney Sisters that they were kind enough to post online. I used ScrapRoom to organize, rename, and edit down to my favorites (which was still quite a few- about 100 more!).

I also got carried away buying new digital goodies from The Lilypad and Pixels and Company. I used a few kits on the pages shown here from Scotty Designs (templates). I'm still pretty slow at designing my own digital pages because I'm still learning it myself, but I can use a template and finish pages in a few minutes.

After shopping, I spend some time importing my new kits and tagging them in my library. It was about 8 pm before I started making any actual digital pages! But I managed to get all these completed before I fell asleep at the keys around 11:30.

Hope you had a great day - and as of now, there are about 7,900 photos uploaded for #nsd10k, and Stacy has asked us to keep uploading until we get to 10,000. We can do this!
